Muzzleloading Hunts
The white tail deer population in eastern Oregon is growing in
numbers, as a result, we have new hunts to offer.
The Muzzleloader-White Tail is a relatively new hunt which allows
you to hunt during the rut with primitive weapons. This hunt is listed
in the synopsis as an antler-less deer hunt, which allows the hunter
to also draw a rifle tag for bucks in the same year.
This is a good hunt to see the big bucks that have been nocturnal
all year who have come out to pursue the does. It also allows the
hunter to try some new tricks like rattling, using scent or grunting
to persuade bucks in close for a shot.
